For over 30 years, Stephanie Phares has been a beloved presence in the Baton Rouge community, pouring her heart and soul into every detail of Zeeland Street. Her dedication to serving fresh, homemade Southern meals and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere has made the restaurant a local favorite and true neighborhood staple.

As the heart and soul of Zeeland Street, Stephanie is passionate about making everyone feel like family. For her, it’s not just about great food—it’s about the connections made around the table and the traditions that bring people together.

In 2024, Stephanie faced one of her biggest challenges: a battle with cancer. With the unwavering support of her family, friends, the Zeeland Street community and her amazing team of Doctors, she’s feeling better and is even more grateful than ever for life and her future.
